This Privacy Policy explains how VelorQ, a product of UpLeap Technologies Private Limited ("VelorQ", "we", "us"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the VelorQ website, the VelorQ platform, and related services. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

When you contact us, request a demo, or apply to use the platform, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, business email, company name, role, country, and the details of your inquiry. We collect only what is necessary to respond to you.

1.2 Platform deployment data

For customers and tenants using the VelorQ platform, we process data that you or your end users submit to the models. This data is handled under a separate Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and is subject to tenant isolation at the schema level. VelorQ does not use tenant data to train shared models.

1.3 Technical information

When you visit velorq.ai, we automatically receive standard technical information — IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed — via industry-standard server logs. This information is used for security, diagnostics, and aggregate analytics.

2. How we use information

• To respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and communicate about the services you have requested.
• To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the VelorQ platform for customers and tenants.
• To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations — including record-keeping and audit requirements.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, abuse, and unauthorised access.

We do not sell personal information. We do not train shared models on tenant deployment data. We do not share inquiry content beyond the individuals responsible for responding to you.

3. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable under the GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or similar laws, we process personal data under the following legal bases: (a) your consent, (b) performance of a contract, (c) compliance with legal obligations, and (d) our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional business (balanced against your rights and freedoms).

4. Data retention

Inquiry information is retained for the period necessary to respond and for a reasonable follow-up window, after which it is either deleted or anonymised. Customer deployment data is retained according to the terms of the applicable DPA and the customer's contractual retention configuration. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days by default.

5. How we share information

We share information only with: (a) vetted service providers who act as processors on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations (for example, cloud infrastructure, email, and customer-relationship tools); (b) legal and regulatory authorities when required by law; (c) professional advisers bound by confidentiality. We never sell data to advertisers or brokers.

6. International transfers

VelorQ operates from India and may transfer information to jurisdictions where our processors are located. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses and equivalent protections under applicable law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@velorq.ai with the subject line "Privacy Request".

8. Security

VelorQ applies architectural and operational safeguards including tenant isolation at the schema level, encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, audit logging on every model exchange, and regular security reviews. See our Security page for details.

9. Children

The VelorQ website and platform are intended for enterprise use and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last Updated" date, and — where appropriate — communicated through other channels.
